Week one of the Design For Me contest at NutHouse-Scraps is underway, and all the submissions are available for you to download (free) and use. I made the page at the left from the very first kit up this past week and it's in the gallery. I can't wait to see the rest!

Every Day of the 12 Days of Christmas has a new freebie

Actually, each day has TWO new free downloads!

It begins today, Dec. 25th, and continues for each of the 12 Days of Christmas - there will be a wonderfully whimsical new 12 Days of Christmas stamp (pictured to the left) that you can download from the main shop page, one for each of the 12 Days of Christmas, plus ... in the shop, you will find a free new part of the amazing 12 Days of Christmas Collab, pictured below.

The 12 Days of Christmas FREEBIES for 2010

We're almost there - the 12 Days of Christmas starts Dec 25th, and at NutHouse-Scraps, we're celebrating again this year with free digital scrapbooking gifts for everyone. But this year, we're giving away TWO different special Christmas-themed gifts each day.

1. There's a beautiful 12 Days of Christmas Kit collaboration from all the designers at NutHouse-Scraps. It includes 114 elements and 28 papers in a gorgeous holiday palette of Warm Wine, Holly Berry Red, Mistletoe Green, Granny Smith Green, Midnight Blue, Winter Storm Blue, Touch of Nutmeg, and Winter White.

Every day, there'll be one zip file of one 12th of the collaboration which is free that day. Just check the shop for it.

2. There will also be a free Christmas Stamp for each day, based on the amazingly whimsical 12 Days of Christmas characters by Americo and decked out to coordinate with our 12 Days Kit. You can see from the preview below that the 12 Days stamps have a wonderful sense of humor to them. Check out those 3 French hens, the leapin' lords, and the "calling bird" is one of my personal favorites!

Every day, right on the front page of the shop at NutHouse-Scraps, there will be a download button for the stamp that displays to everyone once they are logged in.

Rachael Hudnall Chooses Blossom Prints for Collection

Designer Spotlight

I'm SO excited, Rachael Hudnall chose to use my Blossom Prints in the design of her beautiful new digital scrapbooking collection, Sweet Summer. It's wondefully sweet and slightly worn; evocative of casual, warm summer days and nights. It reminds me of curling up with a good book and a glass of iced tea - of playing under the shade trees, or of adventures under a starry, warm evening sky.

Rachael has done a smashing job on these sets with her usual good sense of style. They're not too girlie, they're not too tailored - they do a great job of setting an unforgettable scene for our favorite summertime memories.

And she's made a matching album! I so love albums, they're my number one best friend because they save me all the time of laying out a page. All I have to do is plop in my photo(s) and it's done.
